Keep an eye on this space for details on Koinonia 2009
what is the Koinonia Retreat?
Koinonia (coy-no-NEE-uh) is the Biblical Greek term for “community,” which is what the Church is and should be! For our purposes, we are referring specifically to the community of young adults who share a common faith in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Together we seek to live in such a way that reflects his glory throughout our world. Koinonia acknowledges that Christ established one Church. By extension, the Koinonia Retreat is an effort to put that Biblical principle into practice among the community of young adult Christians.
